Whatever you’re organising, the City of Melbourne Bowls Club offers a relaxed and flexible setting to bring together friends, family or colleagues, just moments from Melbourne’s CBD.
There are two ways to get your party rolling.
You can create an Event Package combining our Event Hall with Bowling, food and drinks (suits groups of approx 50+), or keep things more casual and simply book a few rinks for Barefoot Bowls.
If you’re simply looking to get a group together, book a few bowling rinks, enjoy some snacks and drinks while you bowl, you do not need to submit an Event Event enquiry.
Barefoot Bowls bookings can be made directly through our online booking portal, which opens two months prior to each date– providing live availability for the rinks available to book. (Festive Season opens on 1st October)

The City of Melbourne Bowls Club (CoMBC) was founded as the West Melbourne Bowling Club on 18 August 1866 at the Sabloniere Hotel, which stood on the corner of A’Beckett and Queen Streets, Melbourne until 1972. The bowling green was adjacent to the hotel.
